Why did you choose your career?

I've always been interested in biology since I was a child until today, so my first option was study medicine because I thought this career is more general than others, but my score in the psu it wasn't enough for this. Therefore I started to search another career that was connect with biology and one of them was biochemistry. Biochemistry called my attention because try to solve the human health problems trough the study of the cell at the molecular level and also called my attention to work in a laboratory. This phase of my life was so shocked for my because it's the first important decision that a teenager take for himself, and this decision will define your future and I don't know if the decision I will take would be the correct one, besides I felt so sad for don't achieve my purpose but this give me a life lesson "when the life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Finally I decide to study biochemistry in the Universidad de Chile, and I hope this becomes my passion.
